Misawa, 2014

David, Paul, Jim, and I visited Misawa, northern Honshu Island, Japan, July 26-August 6. We enjoyed the opening night of the Nebuta Festival in Aomori on August 2, then explored Hirosaki (including Hirosaki castle) and Odate on August 3, before taking a very scenic train through northern Honshu on August 4.
