2011.02.03 Nashua

Drew invited me to photograph a game between his team, "Sets in the Park" and the opposition, "Sets and Violence." Drew plays every Thursday throughout the winter at the Nashua YMCA. This was my very first time shooting indoor sports, and this gym is lit by mercury vapor. Luckily the walls are bright. Still, when capturing action under frequency-based lighting, the color of the light in any given 1/320 of a second will vary. You can partially correct for this, but notice how the gym floor changes colors between shots, even though the walls remain mostly consistent.
