Upon my arrival at the potluck, I immediately mounted my 300mm lens to capture Brian and Jeff across the pond doing for-real rock climbing. Peter and I will get to try this later.
Steve brought his kayaks to the potluck so we could play in the water without any fear of leeches.
"The rock climing's over, I guess we'll put our pants back on now."
Matt makes this Frisbee a lot funnier.
Ernie's just as surprised at the sunshine as the rest of us.
I'm not sure I ever saw Jeff with his legs inside the kayak.
Peter's going to explore the entire pond.
This is not a crop. Peter passed by close to where I was shooting. Love that goatee.
Was that Frisbee a free thank-you gift when Steve bought these kayaks? We'll never know.
That would be as close to a cannonball shot as I would get. Technically, Jeff dove from this rock twice.
Luckily Jeff's body is pivoting, otherwise this would have been a painful belly-flop.
The lounge portion of the potluck. Most of the food is in the shade further up.
About 8 of us are enroute to help Al move a rock.
This is the aforementioned rock. After the maneuver, Jeff will say, "Ah, it's only 10 pounds." Jeff will soon recall that pivoting is different from lifting.
Three will not be enough.
But six will do it.
Never pass through Al's garden without admiring the flora he's got there.
Humpback whale rock? Or yoga pose rock? Bob has a definite opinion on this. "See, he's bent in half, and this is his butt."
Should have used my polarizing filter. If you get past the reflection, you can see the tadpoles in the pond.
My turn in the kayak.
This is the backside of the rock Jeff was seen jumping from earlier.
