Frank asked if I would be interesting in photographing the artwork for postcards. Naturally I accepted! So for most of my visit, I practiced taking some shots of the artwork. What I learned: Don't use the 14-24mm lens...too much distortion due to being so close. Also, the frames on the paintings are casting a shadow from the overhead lighting. I can remove that with flash, but I must either carefully color match the ambient light or I must entirely overwhelm the ambient with the flash. (Or I could crop out the shadow, but some of the painting is lost too.)
