Peter and I had the week off ahead of the reunion. Peter went kayaking on one of those days and got a funny band of sunburn. This shot was taken the night before we left for Ohio.

Bound for Columbus! This is Thursday (July 22).

My first job was to take the "after" shots of the house. Then we went to eat. Mom and Dad wanted to take us to a good Italian place but they were closed for vacation (probably to New Hampshire!). So we went to Steve's Dakota Grill instead.

I ordered this just for the photography. :)

Time to open the pool!

Friday (July 23) began with an exploration of the garden.

I think this is the same amount of corn that Mom planted when there were 6 of us living at home!

The pool won't be open until 8:30 so there's time for breakfast.

Some people don't care for the "pool's not open 'til 8:30" rule.

Mom, Rachel, Peter, and I are now at Schneider's Bakery to order some strudel for the next day and pick over what's left in the display case. These tracks are right next to the bakery. This train will pass by, stop, and back up to this position again. Did the engineer leave his wallet somewhere?
