2009.06.Freeport

Beccah and John were invited to a wedding in Connecticut and decided to enjoy an extended New England stay. Peter and I, Jonee and Wayne, and Mom and Dad joined them for the week before the wedding. They found a nice house for rent in Freeport, Maine and rented it for June 20-26. Unfortunately, it rained most of that week, but it was a very relaxing trip for all. Naturally we cooked our own lobster one night and dined once in Portland.

    Pretty soon Mom and Dad must return to the airport. I want to grab a group shot before they go. Time to see what light and background I'll be working with. In this spot, it's a little dim and claustrophobic between the chimney and wall.
    Holding the camera up is hard work. I take a break with this rhubarb crunch.
    Nice background, but the subjects are too dark without flash, and I don't have a softbox or time to set up a big sheet. Besides I have bigger problems...Wayne must be wondering who the narcissist is.
